Its adaptability to the Egyptian climatic conditions, its higher nutritional value compared to other varieties, and the higher quality of varieties derived through the Agricultural Research Center also contribute to its superiority.

Egypt consumes 750 tons of onions daily and exports 450 tons, equivalent to 1200 tons daily.
